Globalization in Islam Islamic Perspective (Analysis of Maudhu'i Tafsir Studies)

This paper aims to discuss Islamic views through the Qur'an regarding the phenomenon of globalization. Where this era of globalization brings various conveniences to mankind, with its main characteristics, namely acceleration. But in reality thisglobalization is not entirely positive impact. Damage to morals, even the fading of religious values are just a few of the many negative impacts of globalization. Globalization promoted by America intends to dominate the world. Of course this is a problemfor Muslims, where Muslims really uphold compassion and noble values. So it is very important to know how Islam views, especially the Koran, in viewing this phenomenon. The method used in uncovering this phenomenon in the Qur'an is the maudhu'i interpretation method, namely by collecting all the verses with the same theme and then explaining them by reviewing the aspects of the cause of the revelation of the verse (asbabun nuzul) and the interrelationships between verses (munasabah). In addition, this study also involved literature analysis by examining all references that were relevant to this study. In Arabic, the term globalization is known as 'aulamah. In the Al-Qur'an there are no verses that specifically discuss this globalization. However, in the Qur'an there is a concept that at first glance is similar to globalization, namely the concept of universality ('alamiyyah). This is not absolutely correct because in reality there is a very fundamental difference between globalization and 'alaamiyyah
