Focus and Scope

Edukasi MedPro welcomes empirical research articles, conceptual papers, systematic or narrative literature reviews, and innovations in educational models and learning practices within the following areas:

  1. General Education
    Covers studies on education in general, including educational theories, education policy, educational management, curriculum development, learning evaluation, instructional innovations, and contemporary issues in education across all levels.

  2. Value Education
    Focuses on the teaching and internalization of values such as moral, ethical, cultural, and social values in educational settings, including strategies for value formation, school culture strengthening, public ethics education, social literacy, and the development of positive attitudes and behaviors among learners.

  3. Religious Education
    Encompasses research on religious education in formal and non-formal contexts, such as curriculum and pedagogy development, religious literacy, religious moderation, community-based learning, and the roles of religious institutions and communities in education.

  4. Pancasila Education
    Examines Pancasila education as a foundation for national ideology, values, and character development, including the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, Pancasila pedagogy, integration of Pancasila values into curricula, and strengthening national identity, unity, and civic morality.

  5. Civic Education
    Addresses citizenship and civics education, including democracy education, human rights, political literacy, civic participation, legal education, digital citizenship, and responsive civic learning in relation to current societal challenges.

  6. Character Building
    Focuses on character development through educational processes and habituation, including school–family–community-based character education, soft skills enhancement, leadership, discipline, integrity, empathy, resilience, and prevention of deviant or harmful behaviors.

  7. Gender Education
    Covers gender-responsive and gender-inclusive education, including gender equality and equity in educational institutions, social inclusion, prevention of discrimination and gender-based violence, gender representation in curriculum and learning resources, and gender-sensitive teaching strategies.
