Islamic Scripture and Media is a double-blind peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to exploring the intersections of Islamic scriptures, primarily the Qur’an and Hadith, with diverse forms of media. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform bridging Islamic studies, media studies, cultural studies, and communication to examine how sacred texts are interpreted, circulated, represented, and contested within contemporary media landscapes.

The journal welcomes original research that engages with classical and contemporary approaches, including (but not limited to) textual studies, hermeneutics, discourse analysis, reception studies, media ethnography, digital humanities, and critical theory. By fostering dialogue across disciplines and regions, Islamic Scripture and Media aims to advance scholarly understanding of the significance of Islamic scriptures in the media age and their role in shaping religious authority, public culture, and social life.
